Chuckeye Steak (The Delmonico)

Product Description

Commonly referred to as the Delmonico... The Chuckeye steak is a flavorful and relatively affordable cut that is often considered a hidden gem among steak lovers. It comes from the chuck primal, specifically from the area near the ribeye, making it similar in taste and texture to more expensive cuts.  Chuckeye steak can be grilled, pan-seared, or broiled. It is best cooked to medium-rare or medium to retain its tenderness and flavor. Marinating the steak or using dry rubs can enhance its flavor even further.

Choose the Chuckeye when you want something different than the ribeye as a standalone entrée or use it in a various dishes like fajitas, stir-fries, or steak salads.

Price can be changed by switching between blue or red marbling grade, picking different sizes, and selecting different scores.

Awesome steak experience!!

One of our best steaks we've ever cooked at home. It was the first time trying a chuckeye steak and knew it was a cheaper version of a ribeye. The steaks were well marbled and cooked up tender! Wife loved them. Would definitely do this again!

Roger D. Tenderness Test

The Roger D. Judging System uses a proprietary, mechanical invention to measure tenderness.

The device records the force required to cut through a cooked test steak.

Each test steak is the same cut and size, which leaves the cutting force as the only variable.
